Replace motherboard on inspiron 24 3455 with inspiron 24 3459
Will a mother board from a "Dell Inspiron 24 3459 All-In-One Motherboard V03J3 Skylake-U w/ i5-6200U"
fit into a inspiron 24 3455 case ??
The AMD chip is just too slow.

This is Inspiron Laptop forum. But how about instead of changing the motherboard you can upgrade the memory and upgrade the hdd to an ssd.
You can use cloning software to clone all partitions.
I don't think the ports usb/sound and video will line up. That is why I never buy all in ones's unless I know I can easily upgrade it.

I have down loaded pics of both boards.
They "look" the same.
I was hoping someone from Dell could chime in on this, maybe with a blue print of each board.
Or maybe a close up of each board.

Look on EBay. There are boards of both types listed.
If the photos provided in multiple listings are correct, the answer is no - the HDMI connectors don't line up between the Intel and AMD board models (unless you're willing to cut the back of the case to accommodate the different location of the HDMI connector).
